I’ve been noticing little habits about myself. When I wake up sometimes and say a quick prayer of thanks to God for waking me up. Sometimes it’s so quick if you blink you’ll miss it but then I’ll grab my phone and I get going. I start out on my email check the headlines of my emails for important then if it’s after 10am then I go straight to “Mediatakeout.com”,”SandraRose.com”, and “Bossip.com”. On an everyday basis this can be exhausting and upset you with all the entertainment mess going on.
But before I get too ahead of myself, did you see a problem? I barely thanked God for waking me up at all. Without him, nothing would be possible period! And he only gets a rinky dink thanks I notice this so much today because last night I was in bible class and we were taught about discipleship and if I want to be a true disciple of the Lord why does he get the least amount of time when he does the most for me? Then I noticed it so much today also because it affected my mood my nerves are shot and I haven’t even got up to move around. I said to myself when I get up and fully aware I am going to read the bible. But I was aware enough to read the blogs that upset me about stuff that doesn’t have anything to do with me but I can’t read the word that can strengthen, encourage and feed me. I tell you I am a work in process. I can’t write this blog without being fully honest with myself. Now I know what I have to fix. I am going to do what I can to fix it because no matter what I ain’t trying to go to hell and living for God is the only way I want to live it’s time to make some changes . So i’mma take a nap & try to start this thang over. Not before I pray and repent 1st.

Don’t Pray And Take Matters Into Your Own Hands
This winter I found myself with an ant problem. I tried everything from ant spray to household cleaner which seemed to kill them right away. I even vacuumed them I knew my neighbor wanted to kill me vacuuming late night but I was at my wits end! So I went to Wal-Mart and saw ant traps for 2.88 you can’t beat it. Later that day I was able to see the traps at work. The ants were going in. Yes I was so proud of myself. One day I sort of got greedy. I thought why not put some food on the outside maybe more would come or when I see them go around the traps start killing them. They both defeated the purpose. 1) If I put the food on the outside they may not go inside. 2) If I kill them outside they won’t get the poison and take it back where they came from to kill the rest of the colony.
That’s how I feel sometimes we are with God we pray for God to do something we put things into his hands then when he doesn’t do it fast enough or like we want, we go and take matters into out own hands like Madea says “God takes too long”. But no matter the situation God hasn’t forgotten about you and he knows what you need and he will take care of those who have hurt you or made your living situation a pain (like my ants)
If you’re going to pray let God handle it, if you’re going to pray don’t worry God has you.
The bait/poison did things I couldn’t do it was able to go into the places (hiding places) I couldn’t go and be more effective than my tactics.
And that’s actually what God can and will do for you. God doesn’t play about his children. Be still and wait on the Lord.
When you’re down to nothing God is up to something (You never know what someone else is going through)
I have often said I had no fight left in me
But somehow I just can’t give up
Every time I try God gives me a little more strength to keep going
He renews me I thank the Lord that we don’t have complete control over our demise
That we can’t just say I give up and *Poof* your gone
Today I was watching Gospel fest and I watched Dorinda Clark –Cole
Talk about how at one point she tried to commit suicide
Its stories like that that touches your soul you see how God can rescue you when you’re on empty
But sometimes I believe we forget that saved people have problems to.
So maybe you have been depressed had thought of suicide or didn’t think your life had meaning
I am going to tell you what God told me when I tried to end my life “DON’T DO IT”
Yeah I know people say suicide is the cowards’ way out but that’s not something you think about
when you’re going through or when those thoughts enter your mind the last thing you are thinking
of is what others are going to say you just want the pain to go away.
DON’T DO IT!!! know that when your down to your last that’s when God will come and change things and show up and out in your life. That’s when your breakthrough will happen because you no longer say NO to God you will only say God have your way.

True Calling
I was talking to a customer at work one day and she had told me how she felt she missed her true calling as to being a teacher. She went on to say that her sons were always saying “Mom your always trying to teach someone something you should be a teacher” she said ” she just wants to help people”. And it seemed as if she was about to cry she just kept saying “I really feel like I missed my calling” she was gazing off. I told her about a woman I met at college who seemed to be an older woman and she just started school to be a teacher. I was just trying to let her know that it was never too late.
But what do you say to someone who has felt as if they have missed their true calling I try to have a positive attitude or outlook on life but somethings you just can’t do anything but listen. My question I am posing is do you feel as though you have missed your true calling if so what are you waiting for go get it.Find what makes you tick and keep going forward no matter what anyone says no matter if no one believes you or if you don’t have anyone in your corner be your OWN cheerleader and don’t stop until you get there and still keep pushing YOU CAN DO IT!!
